Have more questions? Here are some answers.

No special supplies are required! To start, all you’ll need are a few basic things:

  • Pencil
  • Pens (that work for drawing/lettering)
  • Tracing paper

I’ve also included a list of helpful supplies that I like to use inside the toolkit.

Yes! I’ve included JPEGs so you can easily upload the templates and other traceable elements to your iPad and work from there.

This toolkit does not include any lettering instruction or worksheets. The resources are designed to help you take your existing lettering and create a composition, with the assumption that you’ve already learned at least a few lettering styles.

That said, you could also change up your regular writing in different ways to use in place of lettering styles.

After purchase, you’ll receive an email with a link to download the zip file. Inside the zipped folder are several PDF files with the following resources inside:

  • Composition design process guide
  • Layout templates
  • Filler elements

JPEGs are also included for the templates and filler elements.

All the reading material is found inside the design process guide and you can read through it in one day.

Everything else – checklists, templates, traceable embellishments – are tools meant to be used over and over. They’ll be ready for you whenever you need them!
