Here are five great, faith-based lettering books to check out:

1. Hand Lettering God’s Word: Connect with Scripture in a Beautiful Way by Jenny Highsmith

This is a beautiful book that teaches you how to do calligraphy so you can use it to bless others and share your faith!

The focus of the book is all on learning a beautiful creative skill while meditating on Scripture.

1. Hand Lettering Through the Psalms: A Creative Devotional & Inspirational Journal by Leah Weber

With this book by Leah Weber, you can learn hand lettering techniques while journaling – and lettering – your way through the Psalms.

There are perforated pages so you can easily decorate your home with the art you create inside the book!

1. Faith and Lettering book by Krystal Whitten

Krystal Whitten’s Faith and Lettering book teaches you hand lettering and Bible journaling in one inspiring resource.

You’ll get all the tools you need to create your own beautiful, hand-lettered artwork that highlights Scripture.

1. Hand Lettering for Faith: A Christian Workbook for Creating Inspired Art by Amy Latta

This workbook is full of Bible lettering tutorials so you can create a whole variety of hand-drawn Scripture art. Once you finish the book, you’ll have 40 pieces of Bible lettering artwork!

1. Scripture Lettering Workbook by The Daily Grace Co.

This beautiful hand lettering workbook walks you through creating hand-drawn Bible verse designs.

Christian lettering/calligraphy courses

Here are some great online lettering and calligraphy courses with a focus on faith and Scripture!

1. Faith and Lettering online course – In this course, Krystal Whitten teaches you all the basics of hand lettering. You’ll learn three styles of lettering and how to create beautiful Bible lettering art by hand.

Bible lettering worksheets

Using worksheets is one of the best ways to practice calligraphy and lettering – and it’s even better if the practice words are Bible verses!

Here’s a quick list of great Bible lettering worksheets and workbooks.

As with most lettering/calligraphy worksheets, you can either print them out or use them on your iPad in an app like Procreate for digital lettering.

Bible lettering videos and tutorials

Last but not least, here are some Bible lettering videos and tutorials I recommend checking out!

1. Scribbling Grace has a whole bunch of Bible journaling tutorials and printables on her website and YouTube channel.
2. Stefan Kunz also has a lot of great Bible lettering tutorials on YouTube.
3. I really love Amanda Arneill’s style of Bible journaling, and in this video she shares some of her Bible journaling tips.
4. This video by How to Hand Letter goes over Bible journaling and lettering supplies.

Combining lettering with Scripture is a wonderful way to be creative while meditating on – and memorizing – God’s word.

(Bible lettering is definitely one of my favorite ways to use my lettering skills!)

While there are tons of lettering/calligraphy resources out there, it’s nice to find ones that have a focus on faith and Scripture. I hope this list of resources helped you find something perfect for you!
